in other news, tickets are on sale for the melbourne comedy festival in april. here are my top 4 want-to-see acts. anyone want to join me on any of them?
1. josie long - i have something of a crush on her. plus she's hilarious.
2. josie long has 2 listings on the website, so i don't know if she's doing 2 different shows. if so, i want to see them both!
3. hennig wenn - german comedy ambassador (you read that correctly). also hilarious. (although i don't think his tickets are on sale yet. at least, i can't see them listed on the website.)
4. otis lee crenshaw, featuring rich hall - redneck country music + comedy = gold. s've seen him a number of times before. he is good.
5. mark watson. i have enjoyed what i've seen of him, which hasn't been much, but i'd like to see more.
then there are the bigger acts like dylan moran and rhys dharby and tim minchin (who i generally find interesting rather than hilarious, but i haven't seen very much of his stuff)
anybody in for any of that? any other recommendations?
