He's a very naughty boy...
Aug. 1st, 2008 07:11 pmHave we not moved on at all in the last 30 years? Why is this debate still going on?
The story in a nutshell:
Sue Jones-Davis, who played Judith Iscariot in the film Monty Python's Life Of Brian, was recently elected mayor of Aberystwyth. She was shocked to discover that Life of Brian was still officially banned in the town, 30 years after it was first released. She is pressing for the ban to be lifted.

Then, "The Church" kicked up a fuss.

When asked if he had actually seen the film, Rev. Bell said that he had "seen a small clip, that's all".
Why do people insist on speaking before they think things through?

If someone was going to make fun of my wife in a film then I would oppose that... making fun of Jesus Christ, whom I love more than my wife, in a film is going to offend me.
