little, big, goodbye

once again, a new month has, like some crazed serial flasher, revealed itself to us, leaping unexpectedly out of the bushes, opening up its overcoat, wiggling its intimate bits at us and saying "boo!". ah, april. you used to be my spring. now you are my autumn.
